They call it the Space Coast for a reason. Our community stands at the center of American leadership in space, a legacy that began with the first launch from Kennedy Space Center in 1967. From that moment forward, we have led the world in awe of exploration and innovation. Today, NASA and our growing space industry continue to power missions that advance scientific discovery, strengthen our national security, and showcase American ingenuity.
The Indian River Lagoon is one of our region’s most vital natural resources, supporting wildlife, tourism, and our local economy. As part of the National Estuary Program, it plays a key role in protecting water quality and preserving Florida’s unique ecosystems. I am committed to restoring the lagoon, improving water quality, and supporting science-based conservation efforts. As one of the co-chairs of the bipartisan Estuary Caucus, we support continued investment in the National Estuary Program and other partnerships that protect our environment.
Freedom survives where free market economies thrive and flourish. We have learned that reducing burdensome taxes and regulations creates an economic engine where everyone is lifted together. We can do this by extending the 2017 tax cuts and reducing taxes further especially to reshore jobs lost due to past policies. We must also reduce regulations. I’m also committed to no tax on tips, no tax on social security, no tax on overtime and a 15% corporate tax rate for firms that create jobs in the USA.
