Congressman Mike Haridopolos Votes YES on the Protecting American Energy Production Act

Washington, D.C. – On Friday, Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) joined House Republicans in passing the Protecting American Energy Production Act, which will restore America’s energy dominance, create jobs, and lower families' costs.  

“Over the last four years, the Biden administration waged a war on American energy, driving up costs and forcing us to rely on foreign oil and gas from communist dictatorships like Venezuela,” Said Haridopolos. “With the passage of Rep. Pfluger’s Protecting American Energy Production Act, House Republicans are fighting to unleash our energy wealth and ensure American energy dominance”.

The Protecting American Energy Production Act prevents any president from unilaterally banning hydraulic fracturing (fracking), a practice that has helped America increase domestic production of natural gas, driving down prices for consumers and reducing our reliance on foreign energy sources.
