ICYMI: Congressman Mike Haridopolos Speaks on the House Floor Congratulating Cocoa High School’s Football Team on their State Championship Win
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Thursday, Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) delivered a speech on the Floor of the House of Representatives congratulating the Cocoa High School football team and Coach Ryan Schneider on their State Championship win this past year. This is the team’s 3rd consecutive championship victory.
On December 12th, 2025, the Cocoa Tigers defeated the Gadsden County Jaguars with a score of 38-27, securing their seventh state championship title overall. This victory marks a significant milestone in their most recent season following previous triumphs in the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2016, 2022, and 2023.

“Mr. Speaker, I rise today with great pride to congratulate the remarkable Cocoa High School football team on securing their third consecutive state championship.
I would like to take this opportunity to commend and celebrate the exceptional leadership of their head coach, Ryan Schneider, whose dedication to excellence have been instrumental in guiding these young athletes to achieve success on and off the field.
Furthermore, I would like to express my gratitude to Cocoa Mayor Mike Blake for his support of the team and his efforts to promote athletics within our community. To the many seniors who will continue their athletic careers at exceptional universities across the country, I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you will continue to make Brevard proud.”
