Rep. Haridopolos Questions Regulators on Digital Asset Framework

Washington, D.C. — Yesterday, U.S. Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) questioned federal financial regulators during a House Financial Services committee hearing regarding the implementation of the GENIUS Act and ongoing efforts to strengthen our nation’s banking system. 

“Congress passed the GENIUS Act to provide a clear regulatory framework for stablecoins and ensure America remains a leader in financial innovation,” said Congressman Haridopolos. “At the same time, we must continue strengthening our banking system and applying the lessons learned from recent bank failures. Today's discussion provided important updates on both fronts, and I will continue conducting oversight to ensure regulators are meeting their responsibilities.”
