Rep. Haridopolos’ Statement on Explosion at Kennedy Space Center

Washington, D.C. — Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08), Chairman of the House Science, Space, and Technology Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics, issued the following statement following the explosion of Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket at Kennedy Space Center: 

“I have already spoken with NASA Administator Jared Isaacman regarding the explosion of Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket tonight at Kennedy Space Center,” said Congressman Haridopolos. “I am grateful there were no reported injuries and thankful for the first responders, engineers, and launch crews who acted quickly. Praying for Florida’s Space Coast and everyone involved.”
