May 13, 2026
Washington, D.C. — Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2027.
“America does not stay strong by accident,” said Congressman Haridopolos. “This bill strengthens our military, modernizes critical infrastructure, and delivers for the veterans who sacrificed to defend our freedom. Florida is home to one of the largest veteran populations in the country, and I will always fight to ensure our veterans receive the care, support, and respect they earned through their service.”
