Rep. Haridopolos Votes Yes on H.R. 21, the Born-Alive Survivors Protection Act, Defending the Right to Life
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) proudly voted in favor of H.R. 21, the Born-Alive Survivors Protection Act, a critical piece of legislation that affirms the right to life for infants who survive abortions. This bill strengthens protections for those who are born alive following an abortion or attempted abortion, ensuring they receive the same medical care as any newborn.
"Providing care for a child born alive following an abortion attempt should be non-negotiable," said Rep. Haridopolos. "These infants are children, deserving of the same standard of care and chance to thrive as any newborn. Every life is sacred, and we must ensure that those who survive abortion are given the care they need to survive and grow."
