WATCH: Rep. Haridopolos Touts NASA Administrator’s Success

Washington, DC — Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08) questioned NASAAdministrator Jared Isaacman during the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee’s full committee hearing examining the President’s Fiscal Year 2027 budget request.

“The success of Artemis II is a testament to the incredible team at NASA and the leadership that made this mission possible. We could not be more thrilled with what’s happening in space right now, especially as the energy and momentum at Kennedy Space Center continue to grow,” said Congressman Haridopolos. “But we also have to be clear-eyed—we face a serious challenge from China, and this is a race we cannot afford to lose. That means staying focused, strengthening our infrastructure, and ensuring we can launch with consistency and speed. If we want to lead in space, we have to act with urgency and deliver.”
