America voted for change last November, and now we’re delivering it. Over the past four years, families have been hit with rising prices, shrinking paychecks, and a government that grew too big and too careless with your tax dollars. People are working harder than ever, but they’re falling behind. That’s not right, and that’s why my Republican colleagues and I in Congress are fighting hard to pass the “One Big Beautiful Bill”.
This bill is about getting back to basics: Rewarding work, cutting waste, and putting American families first.
Representative Mike Haridopolos (R-FL) is introducing his first piece of legislation, aiming to encourage the growth of small businesses.

VERO BEACH — Piper Aircraft Inc., the largest private employer in Indian River County, stood to lose more than 1,000 jobs because of tariffs threatened against Canada. Some two-thirds of its workforce could have been laid off.
But behind-the-scenes efforts by U.S. Rep. Mike Haridopolos, R-Indian Harbor Beach, helped find a provision in a federal trade agreement that may have saved those jobs and perhaps the entire company.
On Monday, April 28th, Congressman Haridopolos hosted his first Telephone Town Hall.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has long been sold to the American public as a necessary watchdog against financial abuse. Its defenders argue that without it, consumers would be left at the mercy of powerful financial institutions. But they are ignoring the fact that consumer protection laws existed long before the CFPB was established.

On Tuesday, NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, along with Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin, splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule. This otherwise routine mission captured the attention of America — and indeed, the world — as it marked the conclusion of Suni and Butch’s unexpected nine-month stay aboard the International Space Station.
BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA — U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District command leadership, hosted by the Canaveral Port Authority, provided U.S. Congressman Mike Haridopolos with a waterside tour of multiple projects totaling over $150 million in Federal funding that ensure the continued safe navigation of Canaveral Harbor and preserve Brevard County’s shoreline.
“The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District has a long and storied history on this coastline,” said Col. Brandon Bowman, USACE Jacksonville District Commander.
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —
Lawmakers, engineers, and members of the Port Authority provided an update on the monthslong Canaveral Harbor Sand Bypass project during a visit to Jetty Park on Thursday.
“It’s a bigger, better project,” senior project manager Chris Ren said.
This year, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is taking a different approach to rebuilding the beaches. Instead of taking sand from offshore, they're taking sand from another part of the beach, north of the port, where there's too much sand surrounding the jetty.
